Bob O'Hara - Public Record Searches

History Projects

The National Archives holds records on the American Revolution, the Jacobite Risings, regimental war diaries and Army and Navy Operations from 1660 to 1945. There are also Foreign Office, Colonial Office records and papers from the Cabinet and Prime Minister's Office as well as other documents from the Treasury and most other government departments.
We will undertake searches of these and other records for a fee of 25 GB pounds per hour. This is payable by money order denoted in GBP. This is not an open-ended commitment as we discuss the likely length of a project and we do not exceed the expectation.

War Games
Our historical research is particularly suited to authors of war games involving British forces from circa 1680 to the 20th century. We have recent war game experience of several WW1 battles including the Battle of the Selle, (one of the first major WW1 battles without trenches), the North Russian Expeditionary Force on the Archangel Front and the Black Sea Army which supported General Deniken in South Russia in 1919. If required, we can give references to previous clients who have used our services for war game material.
For more information visit the National Archives web site.

Kindest regards
Bob
