Hourly Rate Our hourly rate is from 25 GB pounds, depending on complexity, and is inclusive of postal charges or digital images by file transfer over the internet. We do not charge extra for travel for National Archives research, due to our proximity to the National Archives at Kew.

Cheque You can pay us by sterling (GBP) cheque made payable to:- R W O'Hara and sent to 15 Ruskin Avenue, Kew, TW9 4DR, UK. To pay by cheque in any other currency, please ask us for a current conversion rate, which will include the fee our bank charges to convert your cheque to GBP. Money Order We also accept payment by money order denominated in GBP made payable to:- R W O'Hara and sent to 15 Ruskin Avenue, Kew, TW9 4DR, UK. Bank Transfer A direct bank-to-bank transfer may be made by application to me by email, after which I will provide you with relevant account details. Please choose whichever payment method is most convenient to you, as we don't mind. Obviously we cannot guarantee what the records will contain. Our undertaking is to conduct a diligent, honest and efficient search and we have to ask you to indicate your agreement to paying the fee regardless of whether or not the search produces the outcome you were expecting.
